Why I film my flights – Paramotor Adventure

Scott and I met up with Francois and flew over the San Tan Mountain Range in AZ. Wind was decent but a bit bumpy. First time putting together a video using premier pro. Excited to learn more editing techniques and find a fun way to share the beauty of flying my paramotor. One life, live it.

My Equipment:

Moster 185 Silent on a Renegade frame
ITV Jedi 2 paraglider 25m
Sony A6000 camera
GoPro Hero 4

Music:

Communicator, Fan, Golf Junky, Chihuahua Lover, Dishwater . I want to see your peacock.

What have you been doing your editing with? If you need a hand, I've been using it for about a decade at a similar amateur level, but learning from professionals. YouTube will probably be able to tell you anything I could, but I'd be happy to help where I can. Learning the timeline, effects, sequences, and how to export are the most important things in my opinion. That last one is critical to because so many people are comfortable with just picking some and coder and rolling with it and they don't realize that their entire project comes down to how good that final encode is. That's an area that I know a fair bit about 😉

Hey Nik! Another great video. I love being able to tag along on your flights – hearing your thoughts and perspectives. I appreciate the time you put into it and look forward to many more. Keep 'em coming!

I enjoy your videos. Your editing is good. You have a nice balance of music and voice as well as the type over self comments. I am looking forward to when I can make it out there and fly with you. I just finished school 2 months ago and am just getting into beginner mode.

You’re doing great. I used to own a video production company and although I own finalcut pro (mac) now, premiere is more intuitive. It’s funny how some people get snobby about the software they use. Premiere is awesome and can do anything you can imagine. As others have mentioned you have a nice balance of content already. I’m in Albuquerque so it’s nice to see some desert footage too.

Got to get up pretty early so the Arizona fire sun doesn't melt your wing. Enjoy your vids.

Cool Nik.. "Journal". I like to think of mine as Postcards. And yes I will at times just play the raw footage for myself or even as background. I like the motor droning.
