You prefer solder pads because you're really, really good at soldering. For the rest of us mortals, the cheapo connectors are great, lol.

lol i made a frame a few months ago but i never got enough money to get carbon for it because every time i would get enough i would break something else on my hypetrain build lol. im 15 but luckily there is some free open source software you can use for the files. my school also has a cnc machine

Next time they'll just slap a fucking 1000W magnetron on there.

The Akos frame looks really cool. I think vertical arms are just superior (especially at high speeds) and this designer found very good solutions for the three major challenges: center connection, motor mounts and horizontal rigidity. Way to go!

Why not go with 2.4 ghz for video? would love to see a side by side of a TBS Unify 2.4 800mw compared to one of these high power 5.8 units……

    Nice frame. 🙂
Guess the FCC is going after Hobby King for selling transmitters over 1000mW. For a couple of million dollars. :O

The video at the end had massive dropouts. Is this normal for FPV? Are there ways to reduce how scrambled the picture was?

What caused the bad feed while showing the foxeer dvr?

I think they're putting out a thousand milliwatts, that's one watt, not a thousand. That's why there is such a thing as a miliwatt. It actually means one one thousandth of a watt. If they were a thousand watts, they'd weigh hundreds of pounds and would discharge/explode your battery in about 2 seconds. Don't take my word for it, go learn this stuff for yourself. Actually, you should really go learn about stuff BEFORE making a video on the subject. Otherwise you're only teaching others bullshit and how to be stupid.

Can't you just solder to the marked pads on the top if that is your preference?

Thanks for highlighting the Kittyhawk frame. I had an amazing time beta testing with him. He is a cool kid and he really energized me in the hobby!!! The frame really flies well on 2205 motors. Really halls!!! I raced it a few times. Like it a lot.
