All links in description but check around because these things tend to sell out. Which ones would you get, why? OR better yet, Who is enjoying some of these as their main quads?

Hey, you should take a look at the GAEA 210, it's a $220 rtf with really good performance. I think an rtf would be good for a review because some of us are looking for a good and inexpensive rtf for the ease of entry into the hobby.

G'day Stew. I'm Allen I am new to the Quad racing and i give a HUGE thanks to you and UAVfutures for helping me get started. I have watched a lot of your videos and made my decision on getting the eachine x220. And I can not be more satisfied. it was your video of getting into drone racing for $300. i spend a total $340 i have been flying this wizard for a couple weeks now. It has taken a fair amount of a beating and it still flies great. defiantly going to need more props tho. So again thank you i look forward to seeing more Videos.

G'day, and thanks for another great video! With the myriad of great quadrocopters that you review, a summary like this comes in handy from time to time. Speaking of which, have you considered making a Top 5 list for micro quads that work both outdoor on tiny tracks as well as indoor? Here in Norway the winter season is coming soon, and us Norgies need to prepare for some indoor racing. 🙂

Wizard Wizard Wizard, my first FPV quad and even if i build my own now i still love it, he is now my "scuicide quad" to film dangerous places like flying over rivers or diving cliffs, just because this thing is so sturdy, never been able to break the frame. Good video by the way Stew, love this one particularly, it was very cool to see the 99$ built again 🙂

Hi Stewart! Thank you so much for your channel, I cannot wait till the next video and you are the very first channel I follow. After a lot of consideration, I went for the Tyrant S. I will do a DIY in future, but wanted my first to be crazily robust and loved the design. But there is not a lot of information about it… Do you know which Runcam fits there? I believe the runcam swift micro and the mini would, any recommendations about one of them? Thanks!!!

Stew. I was into RC truck so the videos would appear on my feed…..Then the FPV stuff started showing up on my feed. I decided to take the plunge after your $99 FPV build video. I went for a few upgraded parts so it was a UAVfutures $123 build. Thanks so much for your support and videos. I am enjoying this hobby so much! Someone I know just bought the Eachine Wizard after seeing my quad. For people out there wondering, yes, it is totally worth it to build your own!

UAVfutures hello i live in usa, i just recently had a kraken 5r that was awesome and light and fast. Well it had 2207/2650kv motors, omnibus f4 pro, spedix es30 esc's,tbs unify pro hv,frsky xsr rx and rr cam but now i lost it becouse i stupidly went up in air during sunset and stupidly couldnt see where it went and had either lipo fall out or something i lost radio and video so in big wooded area i cant find it. So question the kraken 5r is possibly older but i want a light 5" that u can replace arms unlike solid one piece setups mine weighed no lipo 303grams what would be a fast 5" that would possibly be faster than my kraken was?? durable and light?

Hey! i just have a question. I am a beginning FPV flyer, and i was going to buy the Eachine wizard x220s until i watched ur video about the carbon/fiberglass arms. I am looking for a decent racing quad, preferably with OSD, camera is no issue, i will replace it, and will last me a while. are there any good options under $300?

🙂 ok I'm another grumpy old man.. brand new into this hobby, got a mavic and wanted something fun to go with that.. just ordered the wizard 220s RTF with extra batteries and cheap goggles. I'm hoping to keep log of my self learning curve and your videos have helped a lot before i even start 😉 i know I'm gone crash a lot but will prob get the 220 when this one bites the dust and swap out some of the gear.. great content thanks for all the help 😉

I am a complete noob, I only have 2 cheapo WiFi quads from best buy right now. I work 2 full time jobs and have 2 kids to support being a single dad means I have to make every dollar stretch as far as possible. I would go with the wizard x220 just based on the price. Your definitely way more knowledgeable about these than I am, so if you say it's good for a beginner and the price is there then that's what I would go with. Big fan, I watch your channel all the time. Thanks for all the advice and info you put out there for us.

Don't hate me but the build for $100 is hit or miss. Id go with that and some of the upgrades with osd cam around $135 and start your garage with 3 of them but I look for a tanky build. The build is nice and its a good pick for open freestyle not specifically racing.. The thing about this sport is its now separating into the sub categories where us pilots are doing totally different things. Your end game might be racing, *track freestyle or Open freestyle where the world is your track, parks, benches, pavilions, buildings, sky scrapers, trees and more. Terminology is changing, Light fast and flexible, or hard tanky and punchy. Truly an awesome time for FPVers but a hard time for the reviewers if your into 1 category. Thanks Stew Trev and the crew you guys always make me want to buy more shit.. LOL..

I don't want to try to build right now. I'm looking to spend under 200.00 for a race drone that has a flight time of about 8 to 10 minutes if possible. Right now I'm considering JJRC pro p175 or p200 quad RTF. Any other suggestions for a RTF race drone set up under $200.00? I have Goggles already. Thanks

These videos are so great Stu, thanks for making them. I got into the hobby a couple of years ago, flying a Mojo 280 with Cinemizer goggles. While the goggles still hold up, my Mojo is like a super heavy dinosaur that flies like a wet bar of soap compared to the new generation of drones with their much better performance and lower price. Your videos have been incredibly helpful in choosing a new FPV drone to build. Thank you!
