Time Flies 2017 Paragliding

Time Flies 2017 Paragliding

Time Flies 2017 Paragliding. An incredibly amazing year. A big thanks to everyone who played a big part in it and to those that always helped and supported me in lots of different ways.

An amazing year not just because of paragliding, but in general. For me 2017 was a year of new things, but lets start at the “beginning”… in 2016.

2016 was one of the worst years in my life with my father dieing of cancer, being stabbed in the back (figuratively) while at a really low point and to top it all off, a boring job.

I believe there to be two main reasons why 2017 turned out the way it did. Firstly, mindset. Secondly, the job change.

Mindset, I believe, is the key to happiness and success. Additionally, getting rid of things that don’t feel good. If there is nothing to weight you down, you can rise up. We set our own limitations, if you believe you can achieve anything if you really want to, you are half way there.

Job. I had been looking for a new job since quite some time, but I intensified my search in the second half of 2016 and finally found a very interesting job at my current company to be started in January 2017.

So, 2017 was the beginning of a lot of changes. New job, new city, new apartment, new… everything. With nothing to weight me down it literally made me fly.

When we grow older, we experience the passing of time to be faster than we did as kids. The perception of time is weird and time really can become “relative”. If we are just doing our regular stuff, go to work, same routine day in day out, being a productive robot, it all blurs together. Time (literally) flies.

Not in 2017, last year wasn’t just another blur.

With basically everything new in 2017, there was no routine and no regular stuff. Even after one year at my current company, the days still do not blur into each other. Outside of work I constantly had lots of exciting and new things to keep both my mind and body busy. Mostly paragliding and travel. 😉

Anyway, to wrap it all up… life really does begin at the end of your comfort zone. Go out, do new things, take risks and live, love and learn! I know I will.

Thanks for sharing this amazing video. I noticed your 4 times twist and getting the reserve out and finally inflated. Very good for learning. And so lucky you got it all on video. Thanks again.
