Jumping out of W7 – Dropped 82nd Airborne soldiers on the night of June 5th 1944 into Normandy.

    June 6th, 1944 Allied forces began the invasion of Normandy, France in an effort to re-take France and, eventually, defeat the tyrannical forces of Nazi Germany.     I'm pretty sure I have photos of you approaching the LZ by the runway (you have the blue and white stripe canopy?). I can check when I get home from work.
