    How i heard to play parachute is tune down a half step and then its em7 G D Cadd9 (same as what you are doing if I remember right). It just sounds better with the tuning.

    I love Matt like most people. And he is a great teacher for beginners. But the reason his playing sounds close to the song but not quite right is because he mainly uses G Ca9 Em7 and D chords.

    This guy is an ok teacher if you just want the bare minimum to kind of sound like the song I personally hope he goes more in depth. Add to that he treats it like its a cover

    I see a lot of questions asking about the model of this guitar…its a Washburn EA series…EA 36 and EA 46
